1. What do you do?
We can do a full move out which includes:
- An inventory (new or updated). We will type up the inventory for you and a digital video can record all the inventory items.
- A full detailed move out report, noting cleaning requirements, property condition per room, missing/damaged items, meter readings etc.
- A digital video of the property, its contents and its condition.
The inventory and move out report will be typed and emailed to you and the video will be transferred to a CD and along with the property keys dropped back to you.
2. Do you have experience doing property move outs?
Bluestone have been doing property move outs for clients since 2004 doing approximately 350 per year (1,400 in total). Our experience is in many cases equal to that of a letting agent. As we focus solely on these areas you are in good hands. Our scooter and bike move out teams and are run by Kornel Polgar who is very detailed and driven to get everything right for our clients. You will not be disappointed.
3. Are you insured to do this work?
Yes we are fully insured. We have public liability insurance up to £2 million and employers liability up to £10 million.
4. Can you give me an exact price over the phone?
Yes we should be able to depending on the size of the property.
5. How do you charge?
We charge per item; the inventory, the video report and the move out report. The variation comes if you need a full new inventory written up and on how large the property is.
6. How can I pay?
You can pay by cheque, cash or BACs. All cheques are to be made payable to Bluestone.
7. How much notice do you require?
The more notice the better but we try and work to a 48 hour turn around depending on the time of year.
8. Do you do jobs outside Edinburgh?
Yes we can do jobs outside Edinburgh. Each job is discussed depending on the distance and size of the job.
9. Can you do the work for me if I am not on site?
Yes we can, we normally work alone in each property.
10. Can you do the work outside hours?
If you require a move out out of hours we should be able to help you depending on availability of the move out team.
11. Do you have any guarantees?
Yes we do. The Bluestone guarantee is simple. If you are not completely satisfied with our work, please inform us and we will happily do what is required to get it sorted for free, guaranteed.
12. Where are you based?
We are based at 41 West Bowling Green Street, Edinburgh, EH6 5NX.
13. Can I set up an account?
For clients who require work on a regular basis we can offer an account. For this we will invoice the jobs and not require them to be signed off and paid on the day.
